Stornoway (Gaelic: Steòrnabhagh) is a town on the Isle of Lewis, the largest town in the Western Isles and formerly in the county of Ross and Cromarty
LGBT History
In 2014 a split occurred in Stornoway High Church, when the majority of the congregation split from the Church of Scotland and joined the Free Church, in a protest against proposals to allow gay men and women to become ministers.[1]
