Historic county of Moray shown within Scotland

Moray is a council area in north-east Scotland. It corresponds to most of the historic county of Moray and part of Banff. From 1975 to 1996 it was part of the Grampian region. The main town is Elgin, and the county was known at one time as Elginshire. Other towns include Forres.
