London Group 1 was a CHE group based in central London. It was founded in 1970, and was an amalgamation of a Kingsway Group founded by Terry Whittaker and a group founded by George Mortimer which followed on from the Albany Trust Discussion Groups[1]

For a time it was one of several CHE groups meeting at the Coachmaker's Arms, Marylebone Lane.[2]
