Kent is a county in south-east England. The county council area contains 12 districts:

- Canterbury
- Dartford
- Dover
- Gravesham
- Maidstone
- Sevenoaks
- Shepway
- Swale
- Thanet
- Tonbridge and Malling
- Tunbridge Wells
There is additionally a unitary authority, Medway.
LGBT History
The East Kent CHE Group was founded in 1971 and Kent Youth Group and West Kent CHE Group in 1972. There were also CHE groups in Tunbridge Wells and Medway.
