Julie Bindel

Julie Bindel (born 1962) is a feminist campaigner and journalist.

Julie Bindel is lesbian; her partner is Harriet Wistrich, a human rights lawyer[2]

She has attracted considerable opposition from trans groups for her views on transsexualism, for instance her 2004 Guardian article "Gender benders beware".[3]

She was ranked 13 in the Pride Power List 2011, 83 in the World Pride Power List 2012 and 83 in the World Pride Power List 2013.

In 2021 she sued Pink News for defamation. [4] [5]. Her book Feminism for Women was published in 2021 [6].

She has published in Al Jazeera on parents concerns about trans influences on children [7] and on 'Identity Politics' [8].
