Huntingdonshire is a district within Cambridgeshire. It was a separate county until 1965 when it merged with the Soke of Peterborough and part of the Isle of Ely to form the county of Huntingdon and Peterborough. This in turn was merged into Cambridgeshire in 1974.

LGBT history

In 2008 there was a move to create a Hunts LGBT group.[1]

In 2012, Michael Black and John Morgan from Huntingdon won a case against a bed and breakfast owner in Cookham, Berkshire, who refused to let them have a double room.[2]
