Chiswick House

Chiswick is a district within the London Borough of Hounslow (formerly in Middlesex). Chiswick House, designed by the Earl of Burlington in the early 18th century, is a notable example of Palladian architecture.

LGBT history

There was a Chiswick CHE Group in the 1970s.

The Birdcage in Chiswick High Road was formerly a gay pub. David Morley was a barman there and lived on the premises. It later closed and re-opened as a gastro pub, The Roebuck.[1]
