Calderdale is a metropolitan borough in West Yorkshire. It was formed in 1974 and the includes the towns of Brighouse, Elland, Halifax, Sowerby Bridge, Hebden Bridge and Todmorden.
LGBT history
Hebden Bridge and Todmorden have had significant LGBT populations over the years.
Calderdale Pride was held in June fom 2009 to 2012 but is not being held in 2013.[1]
Gay and Lesbian Youth in Calderdale ran from 1999 to 2011.[2]
