Limehouse is a district in the London Borough of Tower Hamlets, on the north bank of the Thames. At one time it was noted for the number of Chinese people and foreign sailors who lived there.

The Royal Foundation of St Katharine was the venue for the SK gay social group from 1968.
Sailors Sauna, next door to BJ's White Swan, was previously a branch of Chariots.
