North East Derbyshire shown within Derbyshire

North East Derbyshire is a local government district in Derbyshire. It is a former coal mining area. The council offices are outside the district, in Chesterfield, which the district surrounds on three sides. The main towns are Dronfield, Killamarsh, Eckington, Clay Cross, North Wingfield and Wingerworth.
