Milngavie Clock

Bearsden and Milngavie (Gaelic: Cille Phàdraig Ùr agus Muileann Dhaibhidh) is a former council area in the Strathclyde region of Scotland. In 1996 it was absorbed into East Dunbartonshire.

LGBT history

Milgavie residents have included Colin Harvey, who chaired the North Western Homosexual Law Reform Committee and subsequently helped to found the Scottish Minorities Group, and the Liberal Democrat politician John Morrison.
