Brighton GEMS is a social group for mature gay men in Brighton and Hove. It was founded 1997 as the Older Lesbian and Gay Men’s Forum (OLGMF) as an extension of Age Concern Brighton. It later became GEMS (Gay Elderly Men's Society) and subsequently Brighton GEMS.[1]

The group meets twice a month, and aims to reduced isolation and provide a meeting place in a safe environment.
