Barry

Barry is a seaside resort in the Vale of Glamorgan in South Wales. In the 1960s and 1970s large numbers of redundant British Railways steam locomotives were stored in the Woodham Brothers scrap yard, but most of them eventually went to preserved railways.

Jeff Hook, former Mayor of Southwark, was born in Barry in 1954.
