OutWest was a support, representative and social group for the LGBT communities of West London. It covered the London Boroughs of Brent, Ealing, Hounslow, Hammersmith and Fulham, Hillingdon, Richmond upon Thames and Harrow.

OutWest began life in 1988 as the Hounslow Lesbian and Gay Group. It briefly suspended activities in the late 1990s, but it reformed in 2001 and was rebranded as OutWest. It was consulted on by service providers such as the Metropolitan Police, Hounslow Homes and the West London LGBT Forum. In September 2009 OutWest became a registered charity.[1]

OutWest closed down in September 2016:

"It is with sadness that we announce the closure of OutWest, effective from 27th September 2016. We thank all of our members, past and present who have made a contribution to OutWest over the last 28 years. Please note we will be closing our website on 31st October 2016. All other pages have been removed."[2]
