'''Norman Antony Francis St John-Stevas''' (1929-2012) was a prominent [[Conservative]] politican. He was MP for [[Chelmsford]] 1964-1987, and then a member of the House of Lords.
His partner of over fifty years was Adrian Stanford. They met each other in 1956 at Oxford, where Lord St John taught Stanford law.
