Mid Ulster (red)
Mid Ulster is a local government district in Northern Ireland as from 1 April 2015. It corresponds to three previous local government districts, Magherafelt District, Cookstown District, and the Borough of Dungannon and South Tyrone.

LGBT history

Percy Jocelyn was Church of Ireland Bishop of Clogher from 1820 to 1822.

In 2012 there was a controversy about allegedly homophobic remarks by a Magherafelt councillor being omitted from the official record of the council debate.[1]
