Lincolnshire is a county in eastern England.

The county council area includes seven local government districts. Additionally the ceremonial county includes two unitary authorities, North Lincolnshire (including Scunthorpe and North East Lincolnshire (including Grimsby). Both the unitary authorities were part of the county of Humberside between 1974 and 1996.

Lincolnshire Police covers the county council area. North Lincolnshire and North East Lincolnshire are covered by Humberside Police.
