Julie Bindel
Julie Bindel (born 1962) is an outspoken feminist campaigner and journalist.

Her regular newspaper articles in The Guardian have often highlighted feminist issues and opposition to the sex industry. In 1991 she co-founded Justice For Women, which opposes violence against women from a feminist viewpoint.[1]

Julie Bindel is lesbian; her partner is Harriet Wistrich, a human rights lawyer[2]

She has attracted considerable opposition from trans groups for her views on transsexualism, for instance her 2004 Guardian article "Gender benders beware".[3]

She was ranked 13 in the Pride Power List 2011, 83 in the World Pride Power List 2012 and 83 in the World Pride Power List 2013.

In 2021 she sued Pink News for defamation. [4]
