Cath Hall

Cath Hall is the founder of the Albert Kennedy Trust. She founded the Trust in 1989 following the death of Albert Kennedy, who had run away from a children's home after suffering rejection and abuse.
- " I knew Albert because my own son was gay and they both used to go to the same gay youth group. Albert was also the boyfriend of another boy I was fostering at the time. He was with Albert when he died and he came to me immediately after Albert’s death to tell me about it. It was a very hard time."[1]
She was ranked number 14 in the Independent on Sunday's Pink List 2013. The citation said:
- "The experienced foster carer set up the Albert Kennedy Trust more than two decades ago. The charity, which supports 16-25-year-old LGBT people who are made homeless or living in hostile environments, opened new houses this year for LGBT people that have nowhere else to go. It has offices in Manchester and London."[2]
