The London Astoria
The London Astoria was a music venue in London's West End, at 157 Charing Cross Road, near the junction with Oxford Street.

The building was erected in the 1920s as a cinema, on the site of a former warehouse. In 1968 the intereior was redesigned in a plainer, modern style, and in 1977 it was converted to a theatre. It closed in 1984 and re-opened in 1985 as a nightclub and music venue, together with the building next door, known as Astoria 2. The entire block has now been demolished to make way for the Crossrail development.

The Astoria was the venue for the G-A-Y nightclub from 1993 to 2008, which merged with Heaven when the Astoria was demolished.
