Hartlepool town walls
Hartlepool is the name of a town and seaport in County Durham and also of the unitary authority in which it is located. It was part of Cleveland from 1974 to 1996.

LGBT history

Hart Gables is an LGBT non-profit organisation based in Hartlepool.[1]
