Niel Pearson (Born 1910 died Manchester 1975) C.B.E., was a Manchester solicitor [1], who was President of the North Western Homosexual Law Reform Committee, and then of CHE, from 1964 to 1973, when he became an Honorary Vice President..[2] Pearson was also secretary of the Manchester branch of the National Council for Civil Liberties [3]. He was married to Ruth Longson , daughter of a Judge, in 1934 [4].
