Haringey is an outer London Borough, in north London. It was formed in 1965 by amalgamating the former boroughs of Hornsey, Wood Green, and Tottenham. "Haringey" is a variant form of "Harringay" which is the name of a locality within the borough.LGBT history
There was a Haringey CHE group in the 1970s.
Lynne Featherstone (named as a "Non-LGBT Friend" in the Pink List 2011) is MP for Hornsey and Wood Green.
