Kate Harris along with Bev Jackson established the LGBAlliance in 2019 in opposition to LGBT rights charity Stonewall's policies on transgender issues. Kate Harris has previously been involved in establishing Stonewall. Harris studied politics at the University of Sussex 1973-76.
