Highland Rainbow Folk is an independent group of LGBT volunteers, working to raise awareness of issues facing older LGBT people in the North of Scotland. The group meets monthly in Inverness.A storytelling model is used to raise awareness and understanding.
The group became independent in 2011, having started as a working group set up by Help The Aged in Scotland (now Age Scotland) and the Terrence Higgins Trust.
