Tendring shown within Essex
Tendring is a local government district in North East Essex. Its council is based in Clacton-on-Sea. Other towns in the district include Frinton-on-Sea, Walton-on-the-Naze, Brightlingsea and Harwich.

LGBT history

In 2012 Tendring Council ordered the landlord of the Lion in Ardleigh to take down gay pride flags at the front of the pub. The council leader apologised for the way this had been handled.[1]
