The Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead is a unitary authority in Berkshire. As well as Windsor and Maidenhead it includes the towns of Ascot and Eton. Notable landmarks include Windsor Castle and Eton College.

The Windsor CHE Group was founded in 1971.

In 2010 Michael Black and John Morgan were turned away from a guesthouse in Cookham because the owners refused to let them share a double bed.
