North Down is a former local government district in Northern Ireland. The main town is Bangor, County Down. It became part of the North Down and Ards district in 2015.

Kevin Marques (Kevin Sheldrake) went to school in Hollywood.

Cllr Andrew Muir was the first openly gay mayor of North Down, elected by the Borough Council in June 2013.[1]
