Ashley Steel is a city adviser. She has been described as "the only known lesbian on the board of a Square Mile company".[1]

She was ranked number 81 in the Pride Power List 2011, 74 in the World Pride Power List 2012 and 78 in the World Pride Power List 2013. The World Pride Power List 2012 article said:
