Marylebone or St Marylebone is an area of central London, originally part of the Metropolitan Borough of St Marylebone, but since 1965 part of the City of Westminster. It is a very affluent area, and includes institutions such as Broadcasting House (the BBC headquarters) and major department stores such as Selfridges on the north side of Oxford Street.
