Thomas Cannon
Thomas Cannon was an eighteenth-century English writer. He was a friend of John Cleland, author of Fanny Hill, until they fell out.
In 1748, he published a pamphlet defending homosexuality, Ancient & Modern Pederasty Investigated and Exemplify'd.[1]. Cannon and the publisher were prosecuted, and no copies of the book survive. However most of the text has been reconstructed from court records.[2]
