The Bulldog, 2012

The Bulldog in St James's Street is the longest established gay pub in Brighton. It is open every day of the year and all night on Fridays and Saturdays.[1]

The Bulldog was built in 1875 and used to be a mortuary.[2]

"It isn't stylish or glamorous but it's not trying to be. You are unlikely to find some pretty queen examining himself in the nearest mirror, it's far too dark for that anyway!"[3]
