Guardian memorial (to the 1960 mine disaster)

Abertillery is a town in the Blaenau Gwent district of South Wales, formerly a coal mining centre.

LGBT History

Openly bisexual Julian Meek has been Chairman of Abertillery and Llanhilleth Council.^[1]
