University coat of arms

The University of Aberdeen was founded in 1495 as King's College. Marischal College was founded as a separate university in 1593, and the two colleges were united as the University of Aberdeen in 1860.

Ab-Fab was the LGBT Society at the University of Aberdeen.

"This society was disaffiliated in May 2015. The new forum [ Aberdeen University LGBTQ + ] will take over some of our activities."[1]
