Chelmsford is a city and the county town of Essex.

LGBT history

There was a Chelmsford GLF in 1972.

Lord Black of Brentwood was born in Chelmsford.

The Chelmsford Gay Day, first held in 2003, has now been re-branded Essex Pride.[1]
