Doncaster is a town in South Yorkshire, the centre of the metropolitan borough of the same name. It was previosuly a coal-mining town.

LGBT history

There was a Doncaster CHE group in the 1970s.

Doncaster Pride is held in June. The first Doncaster Winter Pride will take place in February 2013.[1]
