Graham Linehan

Graham Linehan born May 1968, is an Irish writer, director, and producer renowned for creating sitcoms such as 'Father Ted', 'The IT Crowd', and 'Black Books'. Since 2018,he has been a prominent advocate for women's rights and free speech, significantly impacting his professional career. He continues advocacy through 'The Glinner Update' Substack newsletter. His memoir 'Tough Crowd' (2023) chronicles experiences with cancel culture. In 2025 he is listed as a presenter at Genspect The Bigger Picture Detransition Conference 2025, Live Not by Lies—Conversations for a Culture in Crisis in Albuquerque, New Mexico ^[1] In September 2025 Linehan was arrested at Heathrow Airport on his return from USA following some tweets he posted on X ^[2].
