South Humberside was a postal county in northern England, roughly comprising the part of the county of Humberside south of the Humber estuary. It was introduced with the creation of Humberside in 1974, but had no existence other than for postal purposes. The area is now divided between two unitary authorities: North Lincolnshire and North East Lincolnshire. The use of postal counties in addressing mail is now optional.
