Pig and Whistle

Pig and Whistle is a common name for pubs; the name is sometimes thought to refer to "wassail"

The Pig and Whistle near Oxford Street, central London, was the venue for some of the London CHE Groups in the early 1970s.

Another Pig and Whistle, in Belgravia, was a popular gay venue for Saturday lunchtime drinking somewhat later.
