Helen Lowe, died 2011, was a feminist, community activist, and campaigner. During the 1970s she was active in the women's liberation and lesbian liberation movements. Later she worked mainly in publishing and journalism, as co-founder of Dark moon community typesetters, and contributor to Spare Rib and City Limits.
