Carlisle is a city in Cumbria, ten miles south of the Scottish border.

LGBT history

There was a Carlisle CHE group in the 1970s.

The Cumbria LGBT Allience & OutREACH Cumbria held an LGBT Forum in Carlisle in March 2012.[1]

Cumbria Pride is held in Carlisle.[2]
