ACT UP

ACT UP (AIDS Coalition To Unleash Power) was an international direct action advocacy group working to impact the lives of people with AIDS (PWAs). It was founded in 1987 in New York, and campaigned for better access by AIDS patients to medication.

There was a small ACT UP group in the UK.
