Uttlesford shown within Essex

Uttlesford is a local government district in Essex. The main town is Saffron Walden.

LGBT history

The poet John Gambril Nicholson was born in Saffron Walden in 1866 and the singer Tom Robinson went to school there.

In February 2012 the rainbow flag was raised at the council offices for LGBT History Month.[1]
