Unofficial flag of East Anglia

East Anglia is a region in the East of England, largely corresponding to the ancient Anglo-Saxon kingdom of the same name.

East Anglia traditionally includes Norfolk and Suffolk, but in modern usage the region also includes Cambridgeshire and Peterborough, and possibly also Essex and parts of Lincolnshire.

The University of East Anglia (UEA) is located in Norwich

LGBT history

There has been a Gay East Anglia social networking site [1]

Biennial Transgender Conferences have been held at UEA since 2001.

The Roman Catholic diocese of East Anglia has advertised an LGBT group[2]
