Chloe Allen, born c. 1992 ("aged 24"),[1] of the 1st Battalion, the Scots Guards, is the first female infantry soldier to serve in the British Army.
She joined the service as a man in 2012, but has changed her name and begun hormone therapy treatment.[1] She will still be referred to as a Guardsman.
- "It is a great honour to be able to make history and at the same time do my job, it's just brilliant, I'm just looked at as a normal person."[1]
