Matthew Cain

Matthew Cain is a journalist and broadcaster. He born in Bury but grew up in Bolton.

He worked for seven years on the TV programme The South Bank Show, before becoming Culture Editor of Channel 4 News in 2010. He left Channel 4 in 2013, in order to write fiction.[1]

Matthew Cain was listed in the "Journalists" section of the Pink List 2012. The citation said:

"Spent 10 years making documentaries before stepping in front of the camera; now reports on arts news and fronts shows such as What Makes a Masterpiece?. First novel out in 2014."[2]
