The Richmond Arms was a long-established gay pub in Richmond upon Thames. It closed in April 2016 after its owner company, TCG, went in administration.[1]
The Richmond Arms had been open for 30 years, and was known as the last gay bar in south West London. David Langstaff, the manager, said:
- "At one point there were three gay pubs in Richmond and now there won't be any. ... It's been such a special place for all of us – lots of people have met partners here."[2]
