Regard logo

Regard is the national organisation for disabled LGBT people.

Regard was established in 1989 by Kath Gillespie-Sells with the following aims:

  • to provide information, advice and support to LGBT disabled people
  • to raise awareness of disability issues within the LGBT communities
  • to raise awareness of LGBT issues within the disability communities
  • to campaign on issues which specifically affect LGBT disabled people
  • to combat social isolation among LGBT disabled people.[1]
