Southend from the pier

Southend-on-Sea is a seaside resort on the north side of the Thames estuary. Since 1998 it has been a unitary authority within the ceremonial county of Essex. Southend Pier is said to be the longest in the world.

There were a Southend CHE group and a Southend GLF in the 1970s.

The Cliff is said to be Southend's only gay pub.[1]
