Rev Peter Cowell and Rev Dr David Lord are Anglican priests.
Rev Cowell was Chaplain at St Bartholomew's Hospital in the City of London, where he met Dr Lord, from New Zealand, who worked there as a medic, and was himself ordained priest.
In 2008 they he had a civil partnership followed by a blessing service in the church of St Bartholomew The Great, West Smithfield, next to the hospital.[1]
